Over 10 years ago when Daddy Russ and I were first dating I decided I wanted to fly a kite one day. So trying to be the good boyfriend, Russ took me to Walmart to buy a little kid’s kite and then we went home to try and fly it. The only issue was – there was no wind! So we couldn’t get the kite to fly. But that’s ok, Russ had a solution! He told me to take the kite and get in the car. Then he rolled the window down and drove me around so I could fly my kite!! (I’m sure he is going to be so mad at me for telling this story!). It is one of my favorite memories to this day!
Well, if you love to fly a kite like me – then I have the perfect event for you! Head to McAllister Park for Fest of Tails, San Antonio’s annual kite festival and dog fair! The event will be held this Saturday, March 17 from 9am-3pm. There will be contests, kite flying, food, live music, arts and crafts and even a dog parade!
I’ll be working at the Lucy’s Doggy Daycare and Spa booth so be sure to stop by and say hello and pick up some goodies!
