Did you know 1 in 4 children have vision problems? Or 70% of school vision screenings miss problems with children’s eyes?

I recently had the pleasure of visiting VisionWorks flagship location in downtown San Antonio and not only got to try on some totally fabulous eye wear, but I also learned TONS and TONS about eye health. I have horrible eye sight and luckily my parents caught it before it became an issue. But so many children out there struggle with undiagnosed eye problems. With back-to-school right around the corner I really recommend taking your children in for a vision screening at one of their locations. I didn’t even know that children as young as 6 months can get their eyes screened!

Take a look at some pictures from this fun and informational visit!

As you know, I love sunnies and have about a zillion pairs! OH…don’t forget to put sunglasses on your kids as well to prevent sun damage to the eye!

I didn’t know that 1 in 4 children have vision problems! It just goes to show how important eye exams are for children. With kids using electronics more and more, eye strain is common enough to warrant at least a checkup every now and then. Thanks for sharing!
