Red Carpet Style – SA Current Best Of Awards Party

I’m totally running behind on blog posts this week since we were out of town this past weekend. So pardon me as I catch you up on my last couple of days.

Last week I was honored to be awarded 2nd place in the San Antonio Current Best Blogger awards. The SA Current hosts a really cool award party and I was so excited to attend it at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. It was such an awesome event full of the most fashionable people of San Antonio, music, food and tons of fun. I enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people and visiting with some friends that I don’t get to see very often.

Now of course for such a rockin’ event I had to have a fabulous outfit! I am so grateful for the lovely ladies at Apricot Lane who decked me out in this gorgeous little blue number! All of these fabulous photos of me are taken by my super cool friend, Hannah Snyder, who is also a photographer for the Current.

When I saw this dress at Apricot Lane I knew it was perfect! I loved the color with my eyes. My favorite part was the cut of the dress though. Since I’ve been wearing a heart monitor for a couple weeks now I have these little red circles all over my chest from where the lead stickers go. But the great thing was the dress covered everything perfect! I also loved how the back scooped down a bit lower than the front.
