I sure hope you are hungry! There is nothing like a good hamburger and I’m so excited to introduce you to the newest, most delicious hamburger joint in town… Burgerim! Burgerim is the newest concept in hamburgers featuring chef-inspired burgers for a better fast food experience. They just opened a new location in the Park North Shopping Center (next door to North Star Mall located at 842 NW Loop 410, Unit L01D, San Antonio, TX, 78216) so it’s super convenient and Luke and I had the pleasure of visiting last week for a mouth-watering lunch!
While it is “technically” considered fast food so you can eat quickly the food is anything but fast food and the service was fantastic. The venue is modern with an easy walk-in ordering system, bar, lots of big screen TVS and very family-friendly.
Want to catch a game? Burgerim is a perfect place for your Spurs games with all those TVs. Additionally, they also offer wine and beer at great prices!
Now let’s talk about the most important part… the FOOD! This is where the restaurant really differentiates itself. Burgerim’s burgers are done in three ounce patties so they are a little bit bigger than a slider. I like this concept because you can get a couple different burgers in different ways. They also offer a much higher grade of beef and other optional protein for your burger than a normal fast food restaurant. You can select from beef, dry aged beef, Waygu beef, Merguez (spicy beef), Turkey, Chicken, Salmon, Veggie and Chorizo.
There is a wide variety of toppings to choose from to make your burger even more scrumptious (each burger comes with lettuce, tomato and onion). Toppings include:
- Grilled Onion
- Sauteed Mushrooms
- Sunny Side Up Egg
- Bacon
- American Cheese
- Avocado
- Jalapeño
Finally, in addition to their protein and toppings options they also have some special sauces to choose from including:
- BBQ
- Chipotle Mayo
- Garlic Aioli
- Tahini
- Habanero Mayo
Don’t forget the sides! Smother your Burgerim fries with cheese and bacon for a special treat or even enjoy some perfectly crunchy onion rings!
And did I mention they have sweet potato fries?! I highly recommend kicking them up a notch with a drizzle of garlic aoli!
Not feeling a burger? They also have wings, chicken tenders, sausage wraps and sandwiches so there is something for the entire family.
On a health kick? They have you covered there as well! They offer a Grilled Chicken Salad, Panzanella Salad, Chopped Salad and a Basket Salad.
Don’t forget dessert! As you can see the strawberry milkshake was a favorite of Luke’s!
We had such a wonderful time at Burgerim and I highly recommend it! Additionally, they offer 50% off for on duty, uniform police officers, firefighters, paramedics, first responders and military and 25% off with ID!
