This is one of the most beautiful (and hopeful) scriptures in the Bible to me.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
Every now and then I have the habit of saying, “YES!”… to EVERYTHING! I always think I can do it all and then find myself spread too thin and exhausted. It’s like a rollercoaster. I’ll think I am so amazing, juggling everything perfectly and then WHAM…all the balls begin to drop.
Anyone else ever feel that way? I’ll find myself in a major low, looking up at that next climb with literally nothing left.
In my mid-30s something finally started kicking in. Guess what Tori… you can NOT do it all yourself. You are weak. And that may sound pretty harsh but you know what… it’s the truth. And sometimes the truth hurts. Those times when I think I’ve got it all on my own I now know that I was completely fooling myself.
BUT then you know what I realized. I’m not alone. My God is with me every step of the way. I just need to hold out my hand when I need help. HIS strength is unending and will renew mine. And then… I can soar like an eagle.

You’re right! God is always with us, even in our most terrible suffering! But sometimes due to lack of strength, I always think negatively then my best friend always support and guide me on the right path.
