Childcare. I swear at times it’s the bane of a mother’s existence. There is nothing more stressful than trying to find someone to care for your children that you trust and equally adore. I recently sat down with the two owners of Time Out Sitters, Tiffany and Katie, and there was an instant kindred spirit of “mompreneuers” who want the best for our children. Here were two mothers who understand the hardship of finding good childcare and dreamed of providing an easy, affordable AND quality solution for all moms. And that’s just what they did!

Time Out Sitters is an online service that offers you a stress-free option for finding babysitters. All sitters are background checked, 18 years or older, have transportation, previous childcare experience, CPR/first-aid certified and are referenced checked as well. They are dedicated to finding dependable sitters for you and would never provide a sitter that they wouldn’t trust with their own children.

So how does it work? All you need to do is register for a $50 annual membership (here) and fill out an appointment date/time that you need the childcare for. They will then carefully match you with a sitter based on your needs and ta da! All done! Before your appointment you’ll be able to speak directly to the sitter as well as receive an email with their photo and bio so you know exactly who will be arriving at your home. Sitters start at $13.50/hour and are available 24-hours a day including for overnight stays.

Find a sitter you love? No problem! You can add sitters to your “Favorites List” and they will try to book your preferred sitter if they are available. They also are certified to offer sitters for Foster families as well as if your child has special needs.

Not only can they assist with date nights, trips, etc. They also offer sick care and can assist with administering medications. They certainly know that sometimes you just can’t get off work.

But there is something more I want to add about these two ladies above…these ladies share the same heart as I do and as many of my sTORIbook readers do as well. They share a heart of faith and a belief in assisting women to have balanced lives. In addition to providing childcare to help moms out they are also providing jobs for other women.
