Who’s ready to see my new uber fabulous Lili Alessandra bedroom?! Thank you all so much for following along with this exciting bedroom makeover journey with me! The time has finally come for the bedroom reveal! I can’t say thank you enough to Lili Alessandra founder, Sandra Hernandez Yedor, and her entire team for creating the bedroom of my dreams! I seriously never want to leave my room!
The Bed
Can you say, “WOW!” The biggest transformation of the entire room is this stunning Lili Alessandra bed which replaced my old four poster bed that was originally too large for the space (to view click here). The bed has truly become the focal point of the entire room providing me my dream bed – luxurious yet still comfortable to curl up in at night.
When Sandra suggested this stylish Lynn silver, velvet upholstered headboard it was love at first sight. Their headboards are extra-large and really lay the foundation for the room to be built around. Sandra’s design consultant, Craig Aple, (whom I adore!) assisted with the install and we all made a fun day out of it.
Underneath the bed we added a beautiful white rug to bring the space together. I actually found it at Home Goods for a great price! As you can see, Foster was assisting us and particularly loved the rug! He still crawls on it and rubs his face across it!
The Bedding
Now it’s time for my favorite part… the bedding! This was where we really had fun!
The Bed Skirt
To begin the bed and add some romance Sandra started with the Emily Gathered 3-Panel Bed Skirt. It’s a beautiful linen and the 3-panel feature making care and cleaning much easier. As you can see pictured, you just attach the bed skirt to the box springs using straight pins.
 The Quilt
As we mentioned in the design consultation, I wanted to utilize more of an organic fabric for the foundational linens. We achieved this with the Emily Diamond Quilt in White Linen as well as two matching Luxe Euro pillows. This fabric is versatile for a variety of climates as it provides warmth yet is breathable.
The Moderne Personal Blanket
Being a fashion blogger, my room also doubles as a space for me to shoot photography and video. Given this, I wanted to add an extra layer of glam which I also felt personalized the room to my tastes. To do this we added the Moderne personal blanket in Silver Velvet along with matching pillows to fill the large King size bed. It contrasted incredibly well with the white linen for a beautiful impression that made my eyes light up! Isn’t it amazing?!
The Pillows
For the final touch to the bed I selected my absolute favorite Lili Alessandra design – the Ellie 18×30 decorative pillow – which was the icing on the cake! A Lili Alessandra bed isn’t complete without at least one decorative pillow.
The Curtains
The room also featured a set of bay windows which currently didn’t have any treatments on them. In order to complete the room Sandra added the Jane White Sheer Linen curtains and nickel plated hardware which still allowed a large about of light to filter about the room. I love how whimsy they look.
The Décor
For the accompanying décor I had been inspired by a black and white photo of the PRADA art installation in Marfa, Texas and felt that it embodied both Daddy Russ and I’s styles. We worked to combine my love of fashion and his Texas ranching roots throughout the décor.
It has been such a fun experience with Lili Alessandra and I am so grateful for my bedroom oasis.
