I took both boys on a quick road trip to Houston this week for an event and to visit with family. It was my first time taking both boys out of town and it proved to be a bit more difficult than expected (ok – A LOT more difficult than I expected). First, it took like 3 hours to get us all out of the house. Then we made it about 3/4 of the way there and Foster started hollering to eat and Luke started hollering to go to the bathroom so we had to pull over at a rest stop. And basically the same thing happened on the way home. Plus, with both boys being out of routine I pretty much survived on 3-4 hours of sleep both nights. I have to admit I’m running on fumes! But my event was super exciting and I loved spending time with my family. If I can just get some sleep this weekend!
