This past weekend we stayed home and did absolutely nothing! And it was simply divine! We stay so busy that sometimes a break from the hustle is needed. Does anyone else feel that way?
The simplicity of just being together as a family was so enjoyable though. Daddy Russ absolutely spoiled me and let me sleep in on Saturday and Sunday. He woke up each morning for Foster’s early feeding and then he’d bring the baby to me fed and asleep and tuck him in next to me. I’d curl him right up against me and we’d doze together until Luke and Daddy Russ’ laughter in the living room would tempt us out of our little cocoon.
Luke and I colored and made a “museum” filled with our art and watched endless movies. They were “slow” days spent enjoying family and refreshing.
It’s time for more baby style! This sweet boy turned two months this weekend and was stylin’ in Little and Lively, an adorable baby line created by the amazing Carmen West out of British Columbia. As you can see the brand incorporates uber-cool geometrics, animal prints and other designs keeping your baby always on-trend!
Their collection offers clothing for both girls and boys including: leggings, hats, kimonos, rompers, tanks, dresses and bonnets.
I was so excited to find these shorts!! Pretty much everyone has leggings for babies and the shorts were so welcome in this Texas heat!
I really like how they feature a ‘pitched’ waistband that is higher in the back than in the front to offer ample room for diapers.
One of the other great things about her designs is that you can easily mix-and-match them. Here I took the triangle shorts and paired them with the Blue Wild Horses Tank. This design is incredibly stylish and I just LOVE it!!
