Summer is finally here! Well, kind of. In San Antonio it definitely doesn’t feel like summer quite yet. We’ve had SOOOO much rain and the over a hundred degree temperatures haven’t arrived. But I’m kind of liking this mild summer so far (as long as it stops raining for days at a time)! At least we can still go outside without turning in to a crisp!
With the arrival of summer is my Summer 2015 Beauty Picks from HEB and I’ve got some great products for you to try out! They are all available in the beauty department of your local HEB!
I can’t even tell you how damaged my hair is from the pregnancy. It’s true that the baby takes it all! Renpure Originals Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner has been working some serious miracles on it. This line has a unique structure that penetrates the hair cuticle, reducing friction and breakage and protects from styling heat and UV rays. My hair feels incredibly silky after I use it!
For those summer nights go light on your makeup and just add some lip gloss and L’Oreal’s Manga Mascara. This mascara creates over-the-top lash volume and features a super cool cone-shaped 360⁰ flexor brush that builds up to 15X of volume on your lashes.
Get that sun-kissed glow by using Revlon’s “Rose Glow” highlighting palette. Add a bit of highlighting powder to the areas of your face that receive the most sunlight (cheeks, nose and brow). I like to even brush a bit over the top of my shoulders when wearing a strapless blouse.
Once you’ve finished your make-up application use L’Oreal’s Infallible® Pro-Spray & Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray so that your make-up can last all day and night!
Don’t forget about your nails! My nails are super thin so I’ve become obsessed with gel nail polishes! These Sally Hansen Gel polishes thicken your nails and keep them from breaking!
