My favorite food of all-time by far is Thai food! I could eat it every day! A few weeks ago I officially had the BEST Thai food in San Antonio – and that says a lot because I’ve tried pretty much every Thai joint in this city! Thai Topaz is simply divine! Their food is incredibly fresh and delicious! We tried so many dishes and there wasn’t a single thing I didn’t love! Prepare to get hungry!

Thai Topaz is located in Castle Hills at NW Military and West Avenue and it’s a family owned business. We started the meal with Summer Rolls: Vegetables, herbs, vermicelli noodles, wrapped in rice paper, light peanut sauce.

Lettuce Rolls! Always a favorite!

c

Mussels, Thai chili paste, white wine, garlic, lemongrass, lime juice.

Tom Kha Soup: Coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal, lime leaves, mushrooms, lime juice in hot pot. This is one of my favorite Thai dishes EVER!! Highly recommend!

d

Spicy Mango Delight: Fresh cut mango, ginger, carrots, onions, bell peppers, fresh basil. I’m not normally a fan of mango but this was superb!

f

Emerald Salmon: Atlantic salmon, asparagus, avocado, green curry, tamarind sauce, coconut milk. Previous to this dinner I’d actually never had seafood at a Thai restaurant. I would definitely order this again!

g

Pineapple Fried Rice: Jasmine rice, pineapple, raisins, onions. As delicious as it is beautiful!

h

Pad Thai: Rice noodles, egg, bean sprouts, peanuts, tamarind sauce. If you are trying Thai food for the first time this is a great dish to start with.

Don’t forget about dessert!

Ok, that’s one Thai food place that I haven’t tried and I’ve tried a lot of them all over San Antonio. And with those photos I’m heading there now!
