It has taken me a while to sort through these photos (probably because I took a zillion between my camera and phone)! Our recent ski trip to Park City, Utah was such a welcome escape. A few weeks before it we actually weren’t sure I would be able to go but I was determined!
It was truly magical! NOTHING compares to your child seeing snow for the first time! Luke was just so enamored and never wanted to go inside. His joy was completely palpable. Since I’m pregnant and not able to ski I really just spent every minute enjoying motherhood and trying to make it an amazing experience for Luke.

The tiniest (and cutest) skis you ever did see!
Daddy Russ and I love skiing so we were so excited to provide the opportunity for Luke to begin learning. I LITERALLY cried watching him in his private lessons! He did so good! This is his instructor carrying him up the slope because the conveyor belt was full.

Everyone who wore a Santa suit skied free so there were Santas everywhere! This Santa was particularly sweet and took a picture with Luke during lunch.
