I am REALLY rough on my skin. I completely admit that I’m terrible about taking off my make-up, don’t wear SPF every day and really don’t practice regular skincare. I’m always trying new products to cover on the blog and it’s really taking a toll on my skin. A couple weeks ago I introduced you to a line at Saks Fifth Avenue called IOMA Paris. I’m so excited to be partnering with them on a skincare journey to get my skin in the best shape it’s ever been AND prevent future damage.
Throughout my journey I will be taking pictures and redoing my skin analysis so you can actually SEE the proven results.

When you arrive at SAKS (we are super lucky to have this line here in San Antonio) you will be greeted by one of the IOMA Paris ladies who will get you ready for your personal skin analysis. This is me laughing with the lovely Kathy Moses, of whom I adore, right before getting my analysis. Yes, I still have make-up on…the scary part is COMING!
Technology is what makes IOMA so amazing. This is the IOMA Sphere which provides a rapid method of analysis, based on patented and specific techniques of light filtering, and provides you with an instant “photograph” of your skin. Five different photos reveal your skin’s imperfections most often invisible to the naked eye.
This is me getting my analysis done. It’s super fast but gives you soooo much information about your skin.
This little chip that you see here is the MEMS chip – invented by the founder of IOMA, Jean Michel Karam. MEMS are complex electronic components that can detect physical phenomena (pressure, acceleration, speed, etc.) in a particular environment. They are used in industries such as: automobile, aeronautics, medicine, biology and telecommunications. MEMS is integrated into IOMA’s skin analysis devices and measures simultaneously several parameters of the skin.
This is testing the desquamation of my skin which is how fast my skin is rejuvenating itself.
And here is my final results! Now let’s take a look at the trouble spots that my analysis found (prepare yourself!).
After you complete your skin analysis the Sphere gives you a custom recommendation for your skincare regimen. Here is mine! It includes….
These are in no particular order and you don’t have to do all of these every night. For example, the mask and exfoliante you start at 2 times per week but then drop down to 1 time per week. I’m also trying out a few other goodies from their body line including their Cocoon Feet, Elbow and Knee Cream and Soothing Gel for Legs.
