Suns Out!

Every morning while Daddy Russ is getting ready for work I hear little feet tip toe in to my room right up to my side of the bed where I am dozing. Blonde hair and two bright eyes peek over the side of the bed and I hear an exclaimed, “Suns Out, Mommy!”

Who can ask for a better wake up call? This little boy and his Daddy make me want to get up every day with a smile on my face and love in my heart. I hope that every day you are awakened by something just as special!

This was probably one of my favorite photo shoots that I’ve ever done with Luke. Our photographer, Jordan Glazener, knew about this awesome little lake and park near her so we drove out for some fun in the sun. This quilt was made by my Great Grandmother who passed away a couple years ago. I always love laying it out at parks or in the back yard, lying down and just rolling around laughing with Luke. Each time we lie on it I picture my grandmother smiling and full of happiness to see how much joy that quilt has seen!
