The sun was beginning to set as a friend and I walked up to Tribeca for the first time. The light from the bar was spilling out through the porch windows casting a warm romantic glow across the patio and a few diners coupled up enjoying their meals. Laughter and voices raised in jovial conversation that louder as we opened the rustic heavy wooden doors. As we walked in the same light and sounds enveloped us and pulled us in to this new San Antonio dining experience.

Tribeca is the new restaurant opened by restauranteur, Jean-François Poujol, located off McCullough in the Olmos Park area. The restaurant is the new love of Jean-François who was inspired by his mother’s love of food. The restaurant features a menu filled with international dishes…a little French, a little Italian, a little American, but all delicious and with reasonable pricing.

But the best feature of the restaurant is for it’s littlest patrons…a kid’s room! No more will parents be forced to down greasy hamburgers and pizza! You can now enjoy a true date night without the hassle of trying to find a babysitter! The kid’s room features a flat screen TV showing kid appropriate movies, art supplies, chalkboard wall and more. Parents can elect to eat in the room or at a table directly outside of the room. There is only one door to the room which means your children can be monitored at all times.

The night was filled with good food and conversation. By the end of the lovely meal and an enjoyable glass of Prosecco I was utterly content and can’t wait to return with Daddy Russ and Luke! To learn more about Tribeca click here.
