We hope everyone had a happy Halloween! We had so much fun this year! This was the first year Luke really “got it.” The kid was a trick-or-treating pro! We’d wait at the bottom of the driveway and he’d run up, say trick-or-treat and thank you and then keep going! We went to a friends house who’s neighborhood was having a big party – including a food truck that came out! Talk about a blast! I don’t really like the scary side of Halloween but I sure like the family-friendly part!

I made our costumes again this year. Luke was a mariachi and I was a Seniorita! Both were super easy and mine only cost me $7! Lukes’s costume consisted of a black suit I found at a resale shop. I cut the jacket in half at the bottom to make it short, glued on buttons and then added the silver decor on both the pants and jacket. For mine I had the skirt and blouse, corset, gloves, jewelry and just bought a fake rose and a yard of red fabric. Piece of cake! Take a look at our DIY Mariachi and Seniorita costumes!

I made it! Super easy! In the post it describes how to make it! I got the pants and jacket at a 2nd hand store.

I actually found it at a party supply store! I think it was Party City. 😉
