The Missing Remote

For those of you following me on my personal Facebook page you know that we have had the case of the missing living room remote this week. I’ll give you one guess as to why that remote is M.I.A. You guessed it…Luke! That little toot is like a little pirate. He hides EVERYTHING. Usually it’s cars but on occasion it’s my keys (found in snack bin), hair brush (found in toilet), cell phone (found in shoe) and even my toothbrush (found in diaper drawer). It’s like a constant treasure hunt every day in my house.

So three days ago when I saw Luke pretending the remote was an airplane I thought to myself I better get it from him. But, of course, the phone rang and I forgot. Hence, now we have the missing remote. Luckily for me, the TV was stuck on E! which was playing Sex and the City reruns all day since I was too lazy to figure out how to manually change the channel. After searching all day I finally resulted in asking my Facebook friends for help…there were actually some pretty good ideas! Alas, the refrigerator, dishwasher, dryer, trash cans, couches, beds, dog bowls, etc. produced NO remote.

Three days later Daddy Russ has finally given in and programmed an extra remote we have. So long story short…if you have anything you want to hide bring it over to my house and give it to Luke!
