HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY RUSS!
I can’t believe how lucky we are to have you.
You are my love story.
In celebration of Daddy Russ I’d like to share with you some things that you might not know about him.
He has a nickname for EVERYONE. And I mean EVERYONE. (One of my nicknames was Sassy for several years)
He’s much smarter than I am (but don’t tell him I said that). He actually has an engineering degree from Texas A&M University.
He loves peanuts and peanut butter.
He actually sings really good (but you’ll hardly ever hear him sing).
He’s obsessed with old country music and thinks that pretty much all current country is junk.
He’s an awesome handyman.
He loves to mountain bike, snow ski and hunt.
He can’t stand dogs in the house (needless to say he grumbles about my dog, Havana, all the time).
He despises Facebook. He’s very private which means he’s probably not going to like this post.
He loves to BBQ. It’s like an art form to him.
He DVRs shows like Duck Dynasty, Sons of Guns, American Restoration , Tosh.O, Top Gear and stuff like that.
He has a big heart. One day we walked out of the grocery store and an old lady asked us for some money to buy groceries. Instead of handing her over a few dollars he led her in to the grocery store and bought her a shopping cart full of groceries.
Every day he tells me about Luke, “I Love Him So Much.”
He loves ME!!
