I attended a monthly women’s group today through church called, Moms of Grace. It’s a beautiful gathering filled with inspiring young mothers who all strive to support each other in Christ as we face common challenges. While in the meeting today I caught myself thinking about Easter (which is coming up incredibly fast). Specifically what I found myself thinking about is what Easter means to me this year. Since becoming a mom I’ve realized holidays have taken on a newer, DEEPER meaning. Easter for me this year will be a time of REJOICING! I will be rejoicing in the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for me but also rejoicing in the gathering of family.
We are planning to have both sides of our families over for lunch following Easter services. I’m SO looking forward to it and have already been planning the menu! I’ve probably been to Target no less than five times this week picking up groceries, decorations, Easter outfits and MORE! I thought it would be fun to share with you my planned menu and some recipes so that you can enjoy them with your family as well.
This Archer Farms ham is delicious and it’s super easy to cook! I’m hoping to have lunch outside on the patio and sipping on some cool white wine will be lovely!
I’m so excited to try this Asparagus and Cheese Tart (for the recipe click here). Every Easter must have a classic green bean casserole (for the recipe click here).

My family LOVES Target! And I’m so glad there is one close to the house! I hope you have the Target Debit Card….save 5% each visit, just for using a debit card with the Target logo?? HECK YES!!! I’ve saved a ton of money since I got mine! (And it doesn’t cost a thing!)

Allison and Tori, you both really need to look into the debit card! I was hesitant at first because the last thing I needed in my wallet was another “credit card”. But after I researched it I found the card is directly tied to your checking account and there are no annual fees! It is seriously like having a debit card with the Target logo and it saves 5%…EACH VISIT! The online savings is good too…%5 off and free shipping! Since I always pay my credit cards in full each month anyway, it was easy just to have my Target purchases come right out of my checking account…and it saves me more money than using my Cash Back Credit Card…no one (that I have found) offers 5% cash back on every purchase (other than Target)! Okay, I’m starting to sound like I work for Target now, so I will stop….but if you are serious about Target, and you like saving money (who doesn’t right?!?) check out the Target Debit Card!
