Did everyone have a good spring break last week? It was kind of my first spring break as a mom (I don’t really count last year because Luke was a baby and wasn’t in mother’s day out or anything). I finally wrapped up a business project I’d been working on and have been feeling really bad for not spending as much time with him. Since his mother’s day out was on vacation, I decided to make it a special week for him. We did lots of outtings and one of those was to go to the Texas Transportation Museum here in San Antonio. He really liked it and now has a new obsession of trains!
Luke was just in awe of the big engines. He looked so tiny next to them!
Luke had one of his best buddies in crime along for the trip to the museum…James! James decided to take a little stroll down the tracks.
James and his mommy enjoying the beautiful weather!
It was really neat to go in to the passenger trains to see what they used to look like.
Luke’s favorite part of the museum by far was the little model train garden. He was dying to touch the trains. Needless to say, I like to spoil him so I took him to Target afterwards and let him pick out a train.
James and Luke watching the toy trains. Pretty sure both boys were contemplating how to get to them.
Mommy Tori and Luke. My fedora and bright neon scarf is from Target.
My friend Tina and James! We are so blessed to have such great friends with children the same age as Luke!
It was such a wonderful day! I want to mention…the Texas Transportation Museum is run completely by volunteers and receives no funding from the government. To learn more about how you can support the Texas Transportation Museum click here.
This is my sTORI being written as you read. – Love, Mommy Tori
we went there last summer when we went to Sea World. I thought it was pretty cool. I love old stuff like that!
It really was neat. I really liked seeing all the old cars!
Wow!… You really had fun. Love the pix. Luke and James are adorable. You look beautiful with that fedora on 🙂
It was the perfect outting for the boys! And thank you for the compliment on the fedora! I love fedoras!
ohh we must go now! Thanks for the preview!!
You can also ride the train which is really fun for the kids too! Pistol will like it 🙂
I can’t wait to take Dakota!
