Join Me In The Fight Against Leukemia

I am so proud to be supporting a friend of mine, Tina Kahlig, who is running for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year! Cancer affects so many people every year. Every day when I hear about a loved one being lost to this disease I am always astounded that we have yet to find a cure. However, I have faith that one day we will! And campaigns like this will assist us in reaching this goal!

I have known Tina Kahlig LITERALLY my whole life! Tina has been a long time friend of my mothers and her daughter is also a good friend of mine. She is an incredible woman and when I heard about the cause she was running for I knew I had to get involved! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a fundraising competition in communities across the U.S. in which participants vie for the title of Man or Woman of the Year. They raise funds for blood cancer research in honor of local children who are blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year. The titles are awarded to the men and women in each community who raise the most funds during the ten-week campaign; the top local fundraisers in the country also win the national titles.

It’s such a worthy cause and if it is something that touches your heart as well we certainly welcome the support!
