Someone finally turned the air conditioner on in Texas! A refreshing cold front blew in this week which was perfect timing because I’ve been wanting to take Luke to the pumpkin patch. Unfortunately, Daddy Russ is sick but Mamaw and PawPaw were ready and willing to join us! We had such a fun time! We decided to go to a pumpkin patch in Bracken, Texas which is this little community outside of San Antonio. The pumpkin patch was just adorable with free hayrides and much more! Luke had a blast running around. Pretty much all we did was chase after him! Completely different from last year when he couldn’t even crawl yet! I was just looking back at the pictures from last year and it just blows me away how much he’s grown (to see pictures from last year click here). Join us in our Pumpkin Patch Adventure!
Trying to get Luke to hold still for a picture was near impossible. So everything is pretty much an action shot!
Luke was stylin’ in a vest and hat from Fore! Axel and Hudson (one of my favorite brands for boys). I’m so excited that I finally found a store in San Antonio that carries the brand! It’s called Roo & Me and is located in the Pearl Brewery area.
I’m wearing a fur vest from Saks Fifth Avenue, pants and blouse from Nordstrom and boots from Nine West.
PawPaw is one of Luke’s favorite people in the whole world! At times today he didn’t want me – he wanted PawPaw!
They even had FREE hay rides! Luke loved watching the tractors pulling everyone around! Actually, now that I’m thinking about it….this was Luke’s FIRST hay ride!
Luke would actually walk up behind these boards and stick his head in the hole! Cracked me up!

What fun! He just gets cuter with each post!
Thank you! His mommy and daddy think so too!
Seriously, on the way home I told my mom! I can’t believe I forget to call Grandma Joyce! It just slipped my mind that you were up here!! Next time for sure!
how much fun, I need to take my sons still. which one did you go too?
We went to the one in Backen. It was really nice! I liked the free hayride part!
Aw, he is so cute! I love our pumpkin patch here too. They have train rides and mazes and a petting zoo. I think just being surrounded by all these different sized pumpkins is enough for kids to enjoy themselves!
Aww!! I wish they had a maze and petting zoo! Luke would have loved that!!
