Really the title of this post should be “Near Death On Enchanted Rock.” I am the worst person about exercising lately. I’ve yet to figure out where to fit it in my day with Luke’s new schedule. Luke only takes one nap a day and during that time I’ve got to do client work, conference calls and clean up my house. He goes to sleep fairly late and I try to save that time after for my hubby and then I blog really late at night. And don’t even say mornings – I am so NOT a morning person.

But more to the point…this past weekend my fellow bachelorette girls dragged my bum up Enchanted Rock. I will admit I might have whined a bit and I definitely took lots of breaks (of course pretending I was taking pictures but really I couldn’t breath). I am so glad they did though. It was absolutely beautiful!

Even in hiking gear these little cuties look fantastic! I’m the bottom left in the Fedora. Enchanted Rock is an enormous pink granite rock formation about 15 miles outside of Fredericksburg.

Where is the “grandma” trail?!

Enchanted Rock National Park is so pretty. It’s great for hiking, caving, rock climbing, picknicking and/or camping.

And up they go…I’m bringing up the rear.

Pause for a water break and to let me catch up.

This is Emily almost at the top. She sat down and enjoyed a quiet moment by herself.

And your reward for climbing the granite monster….this amazing view. When I got to the top I couldn’t help but say a little prayer of thanks to God for such beautiful country.

At the top there is a cave that you can climb down in. We didn’t have flashlights so we only went in a bit.

Another great part of our awesome bachelorette trip to Fredericksburg!

This is my sTORI being written as you read. – Love, Mommy Tori

Another awesome post, Tori! You did great on the hike. Maybe that’ll be your new form of excercise 🙂

When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a remark is added I get four emails with exactly the same comment. Is there any manner you possibly can take away me from that service? Thanks! 562442

Hi! That’s actually a setting in your account (I’m unable to change for you). When signed in to WordPress you should see a “W” on the top left of your screen. Click on that and it will go to your account. You should see a variety of tabs such as Notifications and I believe you can change it in there. I did that same thing one time and was overwhelmed with emails! I hope that helps!
