Some days I get a bit stir crazy and know that it’s time to get out of the house. Today was one of those days, so a friend of mine and I grabbed the kiddos and went for lunch and shopping at the Alamo Quarry Market located here in San Antonio.

The Quarry Market is an open-air shopping complex located at the former Alamo Cement Plant. They have transformed it into a variety of dining locations, shops, movie theater and other entertainment.

Little Man Luke and Mommy Tori ready to go to the Quarry.  I’m wearing a dress from Victoria’s Secret and sunglasses from Versace.

He’s such a big boy now wearing his trucker hat from Crazy8.

The old smokestacks are integrated in to the background of the Quarry Market layout and have become trademark for the center.

There is a really large movie theater located right in the center of the entire complex. I love all the iron detailing on the outside.

Many of the restaurants feature small outdoor patios including this one at Piatti Italian Ristorante. I ate there the other day and really enjoyed the Carpaccio.

We ate lunch on the patio at Corner Bakery Cafe today. This was one of my fave lunch spots in Dallas so I’m super pumped that we now have two locations in San Antonio (one in the Quarry and the other in Stone Oak off Highway 1604).

Yummy Spinach Sweet Crisp Salad is what I order almost every time! I love how they package their silverware.

I was very tempted to buy a couple of these Orchids from Whole Foods Market.

Little man is my perfect accessory!
