How many of you dream about getting an inheritance one day? Well, guess what – I received one – in the form of purses (which in my mind is right behind an inheritance of shoes)! This inheritance of purses came in two waves – one from my great grandmother and one from my Aunt Shanda.

I just love vintage purses – they each have their own unique style and individuality. Beads missing, a bit of thread showing – it’s all perfectly fine as it shows that handbag has personality!

I love this gold, beaded clutch with its kiss and lock closure. This bag is one of the few with a tag in it so I was able to see the designer. It is from La Regale, a brand founded in the 1950s that is known for specialty occasion handbags.

The handbag has an adorable little gold chain strap which can easily be tucked in the purse if you’d prefer.

Further accessorize with a gold ring like this one from Bebe. For some reason this ring always reminds me of popcorn.

I adore this box purse from Richere by Walborg.

Another clutch with gold and black detailing. No tag so, unfortunately, I am unable to tell you the designer.

I use this silver, metallic clutch all the time. It’s a great purse to wear with jeans or evening wear. No tag again – boo!

One of my favorite rings given to me by Daddy Russ from White House Black Market.

Fully-beaded purse with interesting design.

I agree, vintage purses are so well made and individual, and the ones you’ve shown are fabulous, congrats on your inheritance and sorry for loss if someone passed away.

I personally adore vintage hats – but purses and hats are a great combination lol!

Thank you. Luckily, noone passed away – they were just generous enough to give these to me (the best type of inheritance). I adore hats as well. Geting both would be fantastic!
