I just love suspenders on little boys so I decided Luke had to have a pair. After researching the Internet I was unable to find any in his size so I decided to make them. I found a wonderful tutorial on a blog I love called Make It and Love It (to see tutorial click here.)

I made the tutorial quite a bit easier by using ribbon instead of cloth. For a baby the ribbon is already the perfect width so that cuts out a lot of steps. Hobby Lobby has actual suspender clips that you can purchase making things very easy.

I was really pleased with the result and have since made Luke a couple other pairs. I personally think he looks like a little old man!!

Hi! My son needed ribbon that was 14 in long. I will admit he was in the 98th percentile at this age so depending on how tall the baby is you might want to go a bit shorter.
