I’ve always had a deep love of reading. I can remember being a little girl and sneaking my lamp on in the middle of the night to read as late as I possible could stay awake. And that love of reading still lives on today and it’s something that I hope my boys inherit.
Not only is it important for my boys but it is also incredibly important for all our children and San Antonio Youth Literacy is a local organization that provides much needed one-on-one support to children in San Antonio by empowering them with the skills needed to read while fostering self-confidence and an enjoyment of reading.
Join us this Friday, October 18 for a lively masquerade party at the Roosevelt Library to benefit this wonderful organization and help children learn to read.
Enjoy festive Fall cocktails and small bites provided by Blue Box, Hanzo and Francis Bogside, with live music from The Texases, plus a silent auction and more.
