Today we all woke up early with the light starting to hint across the sky. Luke carried the balloons in to the kitchen trailing his blanket behind him. I quietly opened the refrigerator to take out a special dessert – topping it with a candle. We laid it all out lovingly next to cards filled with special messages. And then we all sang to him. To the man behind-the-scenes. To our rock. To our caregiver. To a father. To a husband. To the love of my life… Daddy Russ.
Today we are celebrating him. He’s the head of our family and my partner in adventure and life. You don’t ever see him in the pictures or on social media but he’s always there. He’s the man behind-the-scenes… supporting and encouraging all of us in his own way. We love you Daddy Russ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

On a fashion note…let’s talk BODY SUITS! I’ve always been a bit terrified of bodysuits. I’ve got some mama curves and I thought there was no way they would look good on me.
