Today I rode up the elevator at Neiman Marcus with Luke’s little hand in mine. He looked up in awe at the cloud of iconic Neiman’s butterflies dancing over our heads as we ascended. We then walked around the corner and I looked up with butterflies now in my stomach. A gigantic smile errupted on my face as I eagerly told my son, “Look Lukie! That’s Mommy’s mannequin. I styled that. People are going to come look at the different mannequins and vote for which one they like best.” And that sweet boy gave my hand a gentle squeeze and replied, “I like yours, Mommy. It’s pretty and has flowers.”
I have been incredibly honored to be asked to participate in a mannequin challenge at Neiman Marcus San Antonio with some other lovely influencers. Everyone did such a great job styling their mannequins (I have to admit I’d wear every single outfit)! I wanted to put together a look that I would actually wear and was immediately drawn to Alice & Olivia because her designs are just too fab! I love to pair classic pieces, such as these black trousers and pinstripe blouse, with a little bit of fun as you can see with the bomber. These are all versatile pieces that you can mix and match in so many different ways.
