Yay! It’s my first outfit post since having Foster! Shopping for clothes post baby can be just as much of a challenge as when pregnant. If you are like me you’ve still got that weird, squishy tummy going on that looks like you’re questionably still pregnant. Remember ladies…it took 9 months to get your tummy like that so give yourself some grace and don’t expect everything to go right back to where it was. But don’t think you have to live in workout clothes either (though I admit I wear quite a bit lately). Look for silhouettes that are looser around the abdomen so you can hide that little bit of bump that’s left over. This little blue dress from Apricot Lane is an ideal candidate. It’s nice and roomy yet still has sex appeal with its shorter length. It’s currently only $39 and they have it in black as well!
This dress has a few different designs that really appeal to me. I love the sheer neckline and sleeve as well as the double-breasted pockets that add a nice touch.
I buttoned the dress all the way up and then added a statement necklace and bracelet also from Apricot Lane for even more edge. They currently have this necklace and bracelet in gold as well which is equally fabulous!
And this FRINGE clutch….to die for!!! It’s my new favorite handbag! They also have it in tan. I’m super tempted to go grab it too!
Polish off the look with some simple black stilettos and you are ready for a hot date night!
