The Science of Hair

My hair got super damaged during the pregnancy. With all the color treatment from being platinum to just the toll that pregnancy takes on your hair…it was pretty much shot. I’ve been trying to help it recover as fast as possible and was so intrigued when I received some products from Living Proof. I tried four different products of theirs including: No Frizz Humidity Shield, No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream, and the No Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner. I’m sure you’ve heard that San Antonio has had an incredible amount of rain this year. We’ve really needed the rain but with all that rain comes HUMIDITY! It pretty much feels like Houston outside! Their No Frizz line has been my saving grace!

The Humidity Shield is incredible and truly WORKS! It’s very lightweight and blocks 100% humidity. It’s powered by their patented frizz-fighting molecule (OFPMA) along with smoothing emollients, an anti-static agent, and a UV protectant.

The shampoo and conditioner is the foundation for a no frizz day! One of the major issues with my hair right now is how dry it is from all the bleach. Both products are weighless, yet hydrating. The key ingredient is, PolyfluoroEster, which creates an invisible shield on the hair to lock in moisture-proof smoothness and repel dirt and oil, so you can go longer between washes to break the frizz and damage cycle.

And finally the styling cream…this product is fab! It conditions the hair and keeps the frizz away as well.
