Sleeveless Summer

A week ago I told you about Dove’s Sleeveless Challenge with the prize to win a trip to New York City! Did you enter? Fingers crossed! Since that last post I’ve been testing the new Dove Advanced Care Deodorant with NutriumMoisture (pictured below). And putting it to the test is putting it mildly! It has been so insanely hot in San Antonio recently and I’ve been running from client meetings to Fashion Week San Antonio meetings and then rushing to pick up Luke.

I tested two scents (Beauty Finish and Shea Butter) and gave one to my mom (Nourished Beauty). We both loved them! The scents were lovely. Beauty Finish has a light floral scent with a hint of roses, Shea Butter is beachy with coconut and Nourished Beauty has a floral scent mixed with citrus. Not only did they smell wonderful but they worked even better! We never had to reapply throughout the day and were always fresh and clean!

Dove Advanced Care Deodorant is also clinically proven to reduce irritation from shaving and provides softer, smoother skin in just three days. I can say that neither my mom nor I had any irritation. Stylist, Erin Walsh, always says, “It can be nice to wear your hair up when you are wearing sleeveless – to show off your shoulders and arms. Whether you have your hair up or down though, it goes back to personal style and how you feel most comfortable. They key is to project confidence.” This is so true and when you aren’t sure about your deodorant it can really limit your confidence. That’s why having the right beauty products such as Dove enable you to always be at your best.

This was the first time that I got my mom involved in testing out a product with me and we had so much fun doing it! It’s easy when a product is as good as this deodorant and a brand as awesome as Dove!
