Elegant and feminine, the midi skirt has made a big play this summer. I was only too happy to jump on board this trend and have a midi skirt outfit post coming for you soon. In the meantime, I wanted to show you some of my favorite midi skirts from other bloggers who did it right. They are giving me some serious wardrobe envy!
A midi skirt is a skirt that lies between the knee and ankle and was very prominent in the 1950’s. This trend is looking to carry on in to Fall 2014 so you still have time to grab some off the racks. This trend is very accessible and easy to wear. The biggest rule is if you are wearing a voluminous midi skirt – don’t go big on top.
Labelle Mel gives a little nod to the French by pairing a bright red midi skirt with this adorable Bonjour sweater and leopard heels. I’ve actually seen tons of bloggers featuring this Bonjour sweater lately! It’s out of stock right now but I found a similar one for you (HERE).
This is probably my favorite look and no surprise because Blaire Eadie from Atlantic Pacific is one of my favorite fashion bloggers. This midi print is to die for! She paired it with a crop top and tied on a denim jacket for a little something extra.
Lace and Locks styled her white midi to perfection with this chic houndstooth blazer.
Dallas Wardrobe’s blue and white floral midi is dainty and exquisite and worn with just a simple white tank.
Fashion blogger extraordinaire, Mary Seng, from Happily Grey is always leading trends. I’m so bummed they didn’t have this check print skirt in my size!
Blaire Eadie from Atlantic Pacific does it again. Her sense of style is impeccable as she goes red all over!
