SeaWorld AdventureCon

If you follow my social media accounts you know that I recently attended SeaWorld’s AdventureCon – a weekend blogger conference here in San Antonio. I’m a part of SeaWorld’s Wildside blogger ambassador team this year so I was really excited to finally meet all the other Wildsiders as well as get to know the behind-the-scenes of SeaWorld even more!

The weekend was filled with animals, inspiration, lots of laughter and even a few tears. I came away, not only with a wealth of blogging knowledge, but also new friendships and cherished memories!

I just have to lead with this video! Suzie the Cockatoo was my FAVORITE animal that I met this weekend! A big thanks to Kami Huyse for taking this video! I wanted to take her home with me!

This is Star, a young American Bald Eagle, who is one of SeaWorld’s newest animal ambassadors. She was rescued from a nest accident in Florida.

One of my favorite parts of AdventureCon was getting to speak with one of Shamu’s trainer. We learned so much about the wonderful care that SeaWorld gives these beautiful whales.

There are a variety of statues throughout SeaWorld made from trash found in the ocean! Aren’t they neat?

There is all kinds of special surprises around SeaWorld to make your experience even more fun! This was a little band playing in Aquatica.

We toured Roa’s Aviary again which is still one of my favorite parts of the park!
