It’s a beautiful spring day with a pleasant breeze (as well as Luke) blowing around me. I glance down and spot a dandelion. A small smile peeks across my face and I lean down, lightly pluck the dandelion and hold it anxiously.
What do I want to wish for?
I have an unending pile of wishes. Many are more common wishes that mothers have for their children and families. And other wishes lie in secret and are silently kept within.
As I blew on that dandelion I watched as the seeds and my wish blew in to the air, floating off into the heavens. Leaving behind a lingering doubt, even a bit of skepticism. But there is hope too.
