Sometimes it is just really nice to get out of town for some awesome hubby and wife time! That’s exactly what we did this past weekend. Daddy Russ and I went to the Austin Food & Wine Festival and Luke went to PawPaw and Mamaw’s!
With all of my heart stuff recently I’ve really felt more closer to Daddy Russ than ever. Being together this weekend almost felt like it was back in our dating years. You remember those years where you can’t get enough of each other, constantly sneaking kisses and holding hands? It was just perfect and very much needed! We met up with so many of our friends and had an absolute blast!
One of the coolest parts of the festival was I got to meet all these awesome celebrity chefs! They were all so very nice!

We had the best time talking with Aaron Franklin for like 45 minutes! Daddy Russ loves to barbeque and is a big fan of Aaron’s style. They pretty much talked brisket the whole time!
I can’t believe how incredibly lucky I was to meet all these talented chefs! It was definitely a weekend I will never forget!
