Yesterday was the Johnson Family Sunday Fun Day! I planned all kinds of activities for Luke this weekend and one of the ones I was the most excited about was going to SeaWorld for their Howl-o-Scream! Mamaw and PawPaw never pass up an opportunity to spend time with Luke so they joined us as well as some friends of ours! It was our first time at SeaWorld’s Howl-o-Scream and I was so impressed!
We went during the earlier part of the day which is definitely geared towards younger children. It looks like the latter part of the day is a bit more scarier and appropriate for older kids and adults.
My favorite activity of the day was this adorable trick-or-treating area they had called “FantaSea.” Children and their parents walk through a beautifully decorated sea maze filled with lovely costumes and candy! I was a black cat for the day (I know…real original) and Little Bubba was Curious George!!
Luke was a bit scared of the people in the costumes but we still laughed a lot!
In addition to having special activities, SeaWorld also changes their animal acts to really neat Halloween themes!
The entire park is also decorated for Halloween with skeletons, pumpkins and hay bales placed throughout for perfect photo ops.
Now this takes some real talent if you ask me!
The little monkey running around with his hippie PawPaw!
Many people in the park were wearing costumes including Mamaw who just looked silly!
It was such a fun day that just made me appreciate my wonderful family, friends and little boy! I love having the opportunity to take my son to such great activities in San Antonio!
This is my sTORI being written as you read. – Love, Mommy Tori
