I just can’t thank you all enough for the outpouring of prayers that you have sent for my great grandmother. She has truly just been enveloped by them and they are working miracles.

After a tough night, Grandma really seems to have made a turn in the right direction. We are no where near out of the woods but there is definitely improvement. Kidneys doing better. Amen! Heart doing better. Double Amen! Now we just have to wait and keep on praying!

Since she is in the ICU there is only allowed to be two people in the room at a time. So my family rotates on who sits with her. Today there was a cold front coming through and it just felt amazing outside so we all sat in this little peaceful atrium at the hospital. It is just a perfect little haven.

At one time everyone went to grab food and I stayed there sitting by myself. The breeze was cutting through and the leaves were rustling and I just felt this calmness.

I sat there and said a little prayer of thanks (and took a picture of my boots that Daddy Russ brought me back from Italy). Then shortly after here came my family bustling back in full loudness.

Looking around at all the people gathered there for Grandma, I realized how proud I am to be a part of this family. Everyone just has such love for each other.

From my Grandmother’s improvements to the gathering of family – I give thanks today. Hopefully, tomorrow continues to be an even better day! Keep those prayers coming, sTORIbook readers!

This is my sTORI being written as you read. – Love, Mommy Tori

God is such a loving God. He will see all of you through this; the ups and downs. I pray for peace that passes all understanding for each of you, and especially for our precious sweetheart that has been through so much now and in the past. It is truly a blessing that for the most part she has been able to recognize and talk with each of you now and so wonderful that for her 95 years she has kept her sharp, clear mind!!
