After a couple days of pulling my hair out I’m officially back! If you follow The sTORIbook’s Facebook page then you know that on Friday I had a major catastrophe – my computer crashed!! Luckily, we were able to save my hard drive so I ditched my old “baby” laptop and got a brand new, shiny “big girl” laptop!
Due to this unexpected set back I’ve been delayed with a post that I’ve been so excited about! This past week I attended a Pink Party in honor of the grand opening of the new Elaine Turner boutique in San Antonio. I’ve been thrilled about the store and seriously danced a little jig when the doors opened! Take a look at these pictures and you’ll see why…
I’ve been very familiar with the company since the opening of their first location in Houston and have enjoyed following Elaine’s success. It’s amazing how the Texas designer has grown her creative vision into a truly iconic brand filled with gorgeous collections of handbags, shoes and other accessories that all women can cherish.
Elaine’s San Antonio boutique is located in an area of the city called Alamo Heights. Immediately after walking in to the store I realized that I had entered heaven. The posh boutique was designed by Elaine and captures the elegance of the brand with accents of their signature color, pink.
The store was filled with fashionable ladies shopping, nibbling on cupcakes, sipping wine and pink sangria and mingling. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the event went to Girls Inc.
This jaw-dropping dressing room was the talk of the party! I seriously want a damask wall-papered room now.
Cupcakes were provided by Kate’s Frosting.
All of her jewelry are statement pieces with on-trend colors.
The foundation of the brand is Elaine’s coveted handbags.
In addition to meeting Elaine, I also had the pleasure of meeting several of her staff members, many of which are stylish ladies full grace and spunk (just like the brand). This is Monica Garza, Director of Retail Stores.
Look at this gorgeous ensemble on another staff member.
I was drawn to the Elan Python Bootie.
Here’s a picture of myself, two other local bloggers and Elaine Turner. What an amazing event! Welcome to San Antonio, Elaine!

I love that necklace in the first picture. Absolutely beautiful.
Every way I turned I saw something I wanted!
Looks like a lovely store. Is it near Bird Bakery? I thought I recognized the shopping center.
It is really beautiful. I’ve never been to Bird Bakery but I think it is near by.
