One of the most exciting events that I attended during Fashion’s Night Out was the Neiman Marcus Fall 2012 runway show. It showcased the gorgeous trends of the upcoming season getting us ready for fall to finally arrive!

The show featured four trends:

  • Borrowed from the Boys
  • Reinventing Black
  • Digital Prints
  • Mixed Greens

Take a look and let me know which ones are your favorite.

The first collection was my second favorite collection…

I loved the masculine cuts, tailoring and fabrics that were used. I was particularly drawn to the classic tweeds and herringbone. They were then accessorized with ultra-feminine shoes, bags, furs and jewelry.

“Reinventing Black” was my favorite collection and the new black is navy! Blue is my favorite color so I am so happy that this color is in! There was also a lot of leather featured which is going to be big this year.

The third collection was “Digital Prints.” This is a very visual trend with lots of modern prints to catch the eye.

The final collection was all about the color green and mixing shades!

I love the mix of masculine tailoring with distinctly feminine details. One of my favorite looks I’ve seen on the Spring 2013 runways is menswear-style pants with sexy t-strap heels. Ultimate Katharine Hepburn chic!

I definitely love the nod to Hepburn as well! I definitely like where I see fashion going in the coming seasons.

I love all the looks, I just wish it was a little cooler here so that I could actually wear some of it. I was just telling my husband I wish we lived somewhere that I could wear more than one layer without sweating lol.
