Red carpets, stilettos and runway shows were all featured during Fashion’s Night Out at The Shops at La Cantera this past week. Stores filled with shoppers looking for the best bargains and trendiest fashions. I had a great time working the event (just wish I had gotten to take advantage of all the sales)! Here’s a look in to the evening. Enjoy!
Fashion’s Night Out was started by Vogue Editor, Anna Wintour in 2009 to boost consumer confidence and the economy. Today, Fashion’s Night Out has events in 18 countries with more than 4,500 events in the United States.
Macy’s had these gorgeous bright red frames set-up throughout the shops. Later during the event they let the public pose and take pictures in them.
The long row of shoppers picking up their swag bags!
Macy’s hosted an outdoor runway show with professional models and then featured a “Macy’s What’s Your Style?” runway show for the public to compete to win a $500 Macy’s gift card. The above photos are the models and below are audience participants.
The audience gathered around to watch the show. It was almost 100 degrees outside! I was seriously melting!
The event also had the winners from the San Antonio Express-News celebrity look-alike contest. If you didn’t already guess these were supposed to be Eva Longoria and Mario Lopez.
There was a beauty lounge hosted by Derma SA, featuring Project Dior Beauty and Fragrance by Christian Dior. I loved this gal’s ombre braid!
VIP Lounge areas with snazzy furniture and cocktails.
The Shops at La Cantera’s restaurants all had booths serving munchies for everyone.
So come ladies visiting during the event. Love those print pants!

What a fun fabulous event to be mingle around in!
I’m so glad San Antonio is now hosting events like this! I already can’t wait until next year!
Looks like a fantastic event! Those look alikes were pretty good, haha. I can’t wait to see the rest of your photos!
Those look alikes really did make me do a double take!
Holy cow I really thought that was Mario Lopez, just a little wider in the face. That guy should seriously hit up the celebrity Mario Lopez to get on his show!
Nice post Tori! such a nice fashion event, you must really enjoyed!
It was definitely one of my favorite events of the year!
