As many of you know, I am completely obsessed with all things Chicago right now due to my recent trip to the awesome city. One of my fave things that originates in Chi-Town is the fabulous blog, His & Hers! Which means you can bet that I am doing a little dance right now because I have a special treat for you – a guest post from “HER” (Meredith O’Brien). Meredith defines style and brings it to your computer every day through her amazing blog. Today she is getting us ladies prepped to look our best this fall! Let’s show her some some good ol’ southern hospitality!

His & Hers Guest Post | The sTORIbook

Hello sTORIbook readers!  I’m Meredith from His & Hers.  I’m so pleased to be joining Tori today to share some of my favorite sources of fall fashion inspiration and top picks to recreate the look in the forthcoming season.  I find myself drawn to specific trends for fall: structured, architectural pieces, touches of leather, and looks that fall on the darker side of the color spectrum.  I love the rich, modern style in these trends, which are so simple, yet incredibly chic, and very easy to recreate.  Here are a handful of images I’ve collected for inspiration, accompanied by the beautiful pieces I’ve selected to create the look for fall.  Happy back-to-fall shopping!

1) Free People Vegan Leather Skirt, $128 {available here}

2) Ark & Co. Vegan Leather Sleeve Jacket, $89 {available here}

3) Trouve Faux Leather Bib Top, $68 {available here}

4) Enzo Angiolini Pallassino, $120 {available here}

5) ASOS Cage Armcuff, $20.44 {available here}

6) ASOS Tassel Bowler Bag, $59.61 {available here}

    I’m pretty sure I just about have to have those SHOES! Looks like buying a new dining room table will have to wait a little bit longer.

    Keep up the great work! You put the best trends in a one extensive article. This year I’d like to give military a try. I’d like to recreate the Victoria Beckham military look she showcased at her fall collection, something like a sexy female commander 🙂
