We are back! Literally, one of the best weekends ever! We had so much fun in Chicago I wish we could go back and do it all again! We did so many exciting things but I thought we’d get it started with the most exciting of all…Lollapalooza!!

Talk about taking a step back in time. It was seriously like going back to the 60s and 70s! Hippies camped out everywhere just jamming to music. And don’t get me started on the fashion! Major retro!

Thousands and thousands of people turned out for three days full of bands. Headliners included Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, Jack White, Black Keys, Florence and the Machine, and more.

My friend, Leah, and I in Grant Park where the concert is held. Stay tuned for separate blog posts on my outfits! The fountain in the picture is Buckingham Fountain.

On the second day of the concert, Chicago had a major storm come through. They had the first ever evacuation of Lollapalooza and thousands of kids streamed into the streets to find cover before the storm arrived. Luckily, our hotel wasn’t far so we just hung out at the bar in our hotel until the gates opened back up. As you can see, it was quite the mud pit!

One of the more popular stages at Lollapalooza.

This was during the Black Sabbath concert. Ozzy was pretty wild! We also saw Red Hot Chili Peppers the following night and they put on an awesome show!

Lots and lots more to come! I so want to go back again!
