Hello!! This is Kellie from Le Zoe Musings and I am sooo thrilled to have the opportunity to guest post on Tori’s blog today! Like Tori, I am a mommy and I LOVE working with other fantastic mommy bloggers.
I’m excited to share with you some of my current home decor obsessions in this post. Lately, I’ve been crazy about white spaces with just the perfect splash of colors. There’s something about a white room that is oh so pure, clean, and fascinating to me. So below I’ve rounded up some of my favorite ‘white w/ color’ rooms from my pinterest board, Abode, and created inspirational color schemes inspired by them (rgb color codes added for reference). Enjoy!
Oh my…I am sooo into white brick walls right now. I wished that my house had a brick wall just so I can paint it white! I am loving the colorful decorative pom poms… and their sizes make such a statement!
This headboard piece is to die for! For me, fresh flowers on the bedside is a MUST. It’s such a pick-me-upper not to mention help add color and life to any space.
I love everything about this space- the minimal decor, wood chair, oversized plant, but especially the massive window. Nothing beats natural light.
And just for giggles, I’ve created a color scheme inspired by an image from a post that I’ve written recently. You can basically create a color scheme from anything. If you are stuck at choosing colors for a particular room, look around and find something that you love or that is inspiring and pull colors from it.
If you have anxiety about having white spaces in your home, I hope that this post made it less intimidating. A white room doesn’t have to be stark and lonely, it can have colors and personality just like any other spaces!
Which color scheme is your favorite? Please share!
Thanks so much for reading!
