As many of you know, Luke and I just got back from vacation in Galveston. It was my Dad’s 50th birthday party so my family and friends got a beach house. We had lots of fun but missed Daddy Russ a lot (he had to work – boo). It was Luke’s first time to the beach and he had a blast! Though, it was LOTS of work for Mommy Tori. Having a toddler out of his routine, in a new location with lots of activity going on gets to be a pretty tough gig. I swear I’m STILL tired! But I’d do it again any day!

Surprisingly, Luke did not have a fear of the water. Which meant that Mommy Tori did lots of chasing! He’d run out until the waves knocked him over and then he’d pop up laughing and do it again. So I was constantly dragging him back to the shallows.

Look at those teeth!
As you can see there was quite a bit of seaweed on the beach. Apparently, the seaweed has been the worst in decades in Galveston.
Another awesome first with Toddler Luke! Can’t wait to take him again! This time with Daddy Russ in tow!

So much fun; so cute! And now you have experienced what I did with your dad, uncle and aunt at a young age! Sand every where when you get back in the car! Extra fun ? too!
I don’t know how you did 3 kids! Sand everywhere is definitely not a plus.
