Usually I get so upset with myself when I forget my camera and I’m at a location that would be cool to blog about. Luckily, there is always the iPhone and Instagram! Last weekend we celebrated Daddy Russ’ mom and sister’s birthdays at a very cute little coffee shop called, The Gruene Grind Coffee Company. The shop is located in a little town called Gruene which is in New Braunfels, Texas. It’s one of those precious towns in Texas great for eating, shopping, antiquing, and more!
Of course, I was in a hurry before the party and ran off and left my camera. So all pictures in this post are courtesy of my trusty iPhone.
I ordered an amazing Chai Latte. I adore the spiciness of chai’s and this is definitely a drink I’ve been craving lately.
Don’t forget to accessorize so you can look cute while sipping your coffee or tea.
This was literally the best cupcake I’ve ever had. It’s a Tres Leches cupcake from Huisache Grill, which is also located in New Braunfels. Huisache also has fantastic food.
I’ve never had a Tres Leches cupcake before, but this one was incredibly moist.
In addition to coffees and teas, the Gruene Grind Coffee Company also offers baked goods and smoothies.
What would a coffee shop be without a quaint little reading nook?

You guys look great! You know, ever since I got my iPhone, the “good” camera has been demoted to the shelf. It’s just so much more portable, although I have to admit that the photos aren’t as good as the good camera, especially when the little man is running and all that comes out is one big blur lol.
