Flashback time! I just wanted to share with you one of my favorite trips that Daddy Russ and I took when we were newlyweds. We went to San Francisco back in 2008 when we had been married for about a year. It was just the two of us and we had an awesome time exploring the city.

My absolute favorite part of the trip was a beach that we found right underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. The beach was practically empty so it was nice and romantic! Side note – this is actually some of the few pictures where you will see Daddy Russ! He despises being in front of the camera.

Save The Gold Dust Lounge: Russ and I spent pretty much an entire day in the Gold Dust Lounge in Union Square. I hadn’t heard of the bar previously, we just decided to stop in for a cocktail. But I am so glad we did! We visited with the bartender and wait staff all day. I also met one of the most fascinating people of my entire life. I don’t know her name but she was a waitress (I believe Irish) who was full of vitality, craziness and told us all about her “lover.” I looked up the bar while writing this post and see that the owners have recently received an eviction notice to make room for a retail store. There is a petition going on to save the bar and I’d like to encourage you to sign it so other people can enjoy this landmark like we did. Visit their website by clicking here and there petition is on the right side.

Isn’t it just amazing? I can’t believe there weren’t people all over it!

I was obsessed with the seals in San Francisco. I literally could have stood there all day watching them.

This is my sTORI being written as you read. – Love, Mommy Tori

San Francisco is amazing!! I’m very lucky to be just 3 hours away!!! If it wasn’t for the ” GAS” price so expensive I would be their much more often!!! Wonderful images!!
