Daddy Russ is on a business trip for the next couple of days (sad face). So it’s just been me and my little man. The weather was so beautiful today I decided to lay down an old quilt of my grandmother’s and enjoy the rays and flowers blooming in our backyard.
I’m totally hearting the forehead headband right now. I’ve seen Nicole Richie and other celebrities channeling their inner hippie with these accessories and have wanted one for a while. They are fun and flirty and Daddy Russ totally thinks they are stupid. But I don’t care – I like them!
The other day when I met with my friend and photographer, Rhobin, (see yesterday’s blog post) she was looking fabulous wearing one of these so I just knew I had to have one. So off I went to Claire’s. I don’t know about you but I haven’t been in to a Claire’s since I was like 12-years-old. But they actually had a couple cute ones on sale!
Of course, if Luke gets within arms reach he loves to pull it off!
…As well as my sunglasses.
My favorite comfy shoes right now are these espadrilles that I picked up at Target the other day for only $12! I’m thinking about getting a couple more pairs in a variety of colors.
Add a little color to your nails with Essie’s Turquoise & Caicos nail lacquer. Released in 2010, this polish has now been added to their permanent line.
It’s a lovely color but you definitely need multiple coats as the first is very transparent.
This nail polish looks gorgeous with a pink ring like this one from Silpada.
All these beautiful spring colors in nail polishes and jewelry but the prettiest color was these exquisite Knock Out Roses that are blooming in our backyard!
