It’s about time! San Antonio is finally catching up with the food truck craze that has been going on across the country. Lucky for me, the newest food truck park to open up is right around the corner from my house! The Park at Summer Glen recently moved in on Highway 281 a few miles north of Evans Road.
The park has several regular food trucks including: Smokin’ Joes (bar-b-que), Pier 67 Ocean Grill (seafood), Panini Street (you guessed it – paninis), The Fry Guy (Hamburgers, etc) and Bistro Six (variety). I’ve enjoyed several of the trucks’ food – Smokin’ Joes bar-b-que is always fresh and delicious if you are in the mood for some good ol’ Texas bar-b-que. I’ve also enjoyed the fish tacos and ceviche from Pier 67 which I absolutely loved!
